Step 1: Schedule Your Free Consultation
At your consultation, our Invisalign Expert will learn more about you and your treatment goals, thoroughly examine the alignment of your teeth and bite, and create a customised treatment plan for you.
Step 2: Your Virtual Smile Design
A free 3D Simulation Scan for you! We will use our iTero intraoral scanner to obtain a 3D video of your teeth. Our orthodontist will then use our Invisalign software to create a before and after simulation of your smile and explain how your smile can be improved using Invisalign.
Step 3: Getting Your Braces On
Invisalign will print the custom aligners that will be used to straighten your teeth. When your aligners are ready, you’ll come by our office to pick them up. Don’t worry; no one will notice them since they blend in with your smile. We recommend wearing Invisalign for about 20 to 22 hours per day.
Step 4: Change Aligners Every 2 Weeks
The number of aligners that you’ll need will depend on how complex your treatment plan is. Usually you’ll have one aligner for every two weeks of treatment.
Step 5: Monthly Check-Ups
Our orthodontist will monitor your progress and evaluate the health of your teeth every 8-12 weeks to ensure everything is coming along nicely with your teeth alignment.
Step 6: Refinements
As you reach the end of your treatment we may need to make some extra refinements to give you the very best results. To do this, we repeat the scanning and impression session and order extra aligners from Invisalign to refine your result.
Step 7: Retainers
Once your treatment is complete you’ll be given fixed and removable retainers which will permanently hold your teeth in place.
Retainers are similar to your Invisalign aligners and you will need to wear it periodically at night.
